Leave us a note:We have stayed here every year for the last 20 plus years. It is extremely family friendly and the cottages are tidy and clean. John and Ann are fantastic, and they've had sets of Irish setter dogs who are also "kid friendly/people friendly". The walk to the public beach is easy. Everything you need for a week away at the beach! If it is rainy (or nice out!) Portsmouth is a fun town to explore shops or just go have a meal in, and Kittery, ME is the next town from there! Plenty to do for anyone visiting. Ann tries to answer questions (and CAN answer most) for John but always gives estimates until John confirms.
We came for a wedding. We arrived very late. The owner had everything prepared for us to simply access our cabins. Beds freshclean house clean perfect location. Good communication with owners and helpful in every way. Its a 1950's fibe. Safe and old fashion good place for kids to run around. Owners loyal to past returning guests as if they were family. Lots of photos in the office. Two Irish Setter dogs handsome and friendly. Just an all around nice cabin experience. I appreciated the no middle man to do business like vrbo or airbnb and their add on fees
Efficient, clean and roomy cottages directly across from the ocean. Quiet location and friendly owners who have beautiful flowers throughout the site. I will definitely be back.
Stayed here for our honeymoon july 2022. Owner was amazing cottage was very clean and the grounds well kept. Plenty of adventures near by and beautiful routes with breath taking views to enjoy on our motorcycle. Was quite and peaceful at night and a short walk to the rocky cost line to watch the sunset and of course the fireworks for the 4 th of July. A special thanks to hoyts lodges for helping make our day and week amazing
We have been coming to Hoyt's for over 20 years off & on. If I could give Hoyt's 10 stars, I would. Beautiful location, beautiful grounds. Relaxing, quiet and private. Pricing is very reasonable. Accomodations are clean and cozy. Just a few miles to the craziness of Hampton Beach or the shopping of Portsmouth. A super quick 1/4 mile stroll to a state beach. We always have a great stay with John & Ann at Hoyt's.
